KSS CALL RECORDER: ESSENTIALS & PROFESSIONAL

Call Recorder is normally configured across all telephone lines making it possible to record inbound and outbound calls. The Call recording system is compatible with both PRI and BRI systems and the recording unit is installed between the lines and the telephone switch (PBX) making installation very simple.

ACCESS:

Security is governed by simple rules and permissions which enable different levels of control over recording and playback. In Essentials, permission is restricted to the authorised administrator.

Calls linked to users not just extensions:

The Professional version can match a call against an individual user and each user can have their own screen showing only calls handled by them. In addition Supervisors can access calls associated with any user within their team. In addition to the user based call security you can also define recording rules for individual users, extensions etc.

WHITE / BLACK LIST:

Professional also enables rules to be set to govern which calls are recorded. For example, calls to and from the extension used by the Managing Director could be excluded as would any telephone designated for personal calls made by staff.

SEARCH & RETRIEVAL:

Recorded calls are quick and easy to locate, either through a daily log, which displays the last 50 calls and applies an icon to each to show which have been recorded, or using a quick search facility to filter all recorded calls in the data base using a choice of criteria, for example, number, date, inbound / outbound / abandoned, etc.

EXTENSION MATCHING:

Professional also includes extension matching within the quick search facility to make searches even faster and more accurate. The standard calls database can store up to 2 million calls, which means searches can go back months, not just days!

PLAYBACK:

Replay is initiated simply by clicking on the recorded call icon. Call playback controls are similar in format to many popular MP3 players and are operated from the computer desktop. A looping facility enables selected parts of a call to be played continuously for in-depth analysis. (Screen shot - playback screen)

EXPORT & ARCHIVE:

Recorded calls are easy to export and e-mail as .wav files. The original call recordings can be archived to disc or other storage devices and for added security they can only be replayed on KSS Call Recorder when they are recovered.

NOTES:

Notes of up to 1000 characters in length can be attached to an individual call or to different legs of the same call. This reference information is highlighted with a notes icon and remains associated with the call once it is stored in the data base. Subsequently, searches can be made to locate calls for which the notes contain a particular phrase, word or group of letters. Ideal, to pinpoint a specific call, particularly if this is one of many recordings of calls to or from the same number.
